28B4 In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful. Prophet, why do you^MS forbid what Allah has allowed for you^MS? You^MS are trying to please your^MS wives. Allah is forgiving and merciful.

Allah has decreed that you^MP break your^MP oaths. Allah is your^MP master. He is all-knowing and wise.

*** When the prophet told some of his wives a saying in secret, and then she told it, and then Allah informed him of it, he made some of it known and disclaimed some of it. When he told her about it, she said, “Who told you^MS that?” He said, “The all-knowing, aware one told me.”

If you^D repent to Allah, your^D hearts^P have listened. If they defend^MD each other against him, Allah is his master, along with Jibril and the righteous believers, and after that, the angels are a support.

*** If he divorces you^FP,his Lord may exchange for him better wives^FP, who submit^FP and believe^FP, are submissive^FP, repentant^FP, worshipful^FP, who travel^FP, widows^FP and virgins^FP.

*** Believers, guard yourselves^MP and your^MP families from hellfire, whose fuel is people and rocks. There are severe, strong angels over it who do not disobey^MP what Allah commands them, but do^MP as they are told.

Disbelievers, do not make excuses today. You^MP are being repaid for your^MP deeds.

*** Believers, repent^MP sincerely toward Allah, that your^MP Lord may expiate your^MP bad deeds and admit you^MP to heavenly gardens with flowing rivers underneath. On that day, Allah will not shame the prophet nor those who believed with him. Their^MP light proceeds between their^MP hands, and with oaths they^MP say: “Lord, perfect our light and forgive us. You^MS can do anything.”

Prophet, struggle against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be tough with them. They will dwell in hell, an awful destiny.”

*** Allah gave a parable to the disbelievers: Nuh’s wife and Lut’s wife. hey were married to two of our righteous servants, but they betrayed them. Their husbands could not help them at all with Allah. It was told them both, “Enter hellfire along with others who enter.”

Allah gave a parable to the believers: Pharaoh’s wife, who said, “Lord, build me a house in heaven with you^MS, and rescue me from Pharaoh and his work, and rescue me from wicked people,”

and Mariam, daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, so we breathed into her womb some of our spirit. She believed in the words of her Lord and of his books, and she was devout.”
