26A1 In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful. HM.

2
The revelation of the book is from the mighty, wise Allah.

3
We created the heavens, the earth, and what is between them only in truth and for a specific lifespan. Disbelievers turn away from the warning they were given.

4
SayMS, “What do youMP think about those youMP pray to besides Allah? Show me what they have created on earth. Do they have other gods in the heavens? Bring me a book before this or some relic of knowledge if youMP are telling the truth.”
0
5
Who is further astray than one who prays to gods other than Allah? They will not answer him until the day of resurrection. They are unaware of their prayers.
0
6
When people are gathered, they will be their enemies, and will renounce their worship.
0
7
When our signs are recited to them as miracles, disbelievers say of the truth that has come to them, “This is clearly magic,”

or “He invented it.” SayMS, “Even if I invented it, youMP cannot do anything to me from Allah. He well knows what youMP spew forth. He is an adequate witness between me and youMP. He is forgiving and merciful.
0
9
SayMS, “I am not a new invention among the messengers, and I do not know what will be done to me or to youMP. I only follow what I am inspired with. I am only a clear warner.”
0
10
SayMS, “What do youMP think? If it is from Allah and youMP disbelieve in it, yet a witness from the people of Israel testifies to something similar and he believes, while youMP are proud?” Allah does not guide wicked people.

11
The disbelievers told the believers, “If it were good, they would have beaten us to it.” Since they were not guided by it, they will say “It is an old lie.”

12
Before it the book of Musa [was] a leader and mercy. This is a confirming book in an Arabic language, to warn the wicked and give good news to those who do good deeds.

13
Those who said, “Our Lord is Allah,” and are upright shall not fear or grieve.
0
14
They will go to the heavenly garden and remain there forever, as a reward for their deeds.”

15
We commanded people to do good to their parents. Their mothers bore them in pain and gave birth to them in pain. The pregnancy until weaning lasts thirty months. When he is fully grown and turns forty years old, he said, “My Lord, remind me to give youMS thanks for the blessings youMS gave me and my parents, and to do righteous deeds that please youMS. Give me righteous descendants. I repent to youMS, and I have submitted.”
0
16
For this kind of people, those that go to the heavenly garden, we accept the best of what they do, and overlook their bad deeds. That promise they were given is true.
0
17
As for those who say to their parents, “I am disgusted with youD! Do youD promise me I can be brought out? Generations before me have passed away.” All the while, theyD are praying to Allah. “Woe to youMS. BelieveMS that Allah’s promise is true.” They will say, “This is just a bunch of ancient legends.”

18
Those are the ones about whom the statement is fulfilled concerning the nations of jinns and people before them that have passed away and were lost.
0
19
Everyone has degrees of deeds they did, so we will pay them back for their deeds, and they will not be wronged.

20
On that day, the disbelievers will be shown hellfire. “YouMP have wasted yourMP good things in yourMP earthly life, and youMP have enjoyed them. So today, youMP will be repaid with contemptible torment for beingMP unjustifiably proud in the land, and for yourMP unbelief.”

26A2 Remember Aad’s brother, when he warned his people by the sand dunes, since warners had passed away in front of him and behind him, “Worship only Allah. I am afraid youMP will suffer the torment of a great day.”
0
22
They said, “Have youMS come to us to lie about our gods? Bring on what youMS promise us if youMS are telling the truth.”
0
23
He said, “Allah only knows. I am conveying the message I was given. I see that youMP are ignorant people.”
0
24
When they saw it as a cloud coming toward their valleys, they said, “This is a cloud that will give us rain.” Rather it is what youMP hastened: a wind with painful torment in it.
0
25
It will destroy everything by order of its Lord. In the morning, nothing will be left to see but their dwellings. This is how we repay wrongdoing people.
0
26
We have strengthened them as we have strengthened youMP. We gave them hearing, sight, and hearts, but their hearing, sight, and hearts did them no good, since they denied Allah’s signs. So they were surrounded by what they had made fun of.
0
27
We destroyed the villages around youMP, and explained the signs, so that they may return.
0
28
If only the offering and the gods they chose besides Allah had saved them. But they went astray from them. That was  the lie they invented.
0
29
We turned a group of jinns toward youMS to listen to the Qur’an, and when they came, they said, “Listen.” When it was completed, they turned to their people as warners.
0
30
They said, “Our people, we have heard a book that was revealed after Musa, confirming what is in his possession, guiding to the truth and the straight path.
0
31
Our people, respond to Allah’s caller, and believe in him. He will forgive youMP some of yourMP sins and deliver youMP from painful torment.”
0
32
Those who do not respond to Allah’s caller cannot frustrate [this] on earth, and they will have no protector besides him. They have clearly gone astray.
0
33
*** Have they not seen that Allah has created the heavens and the earth? There was nothing that tired him from their creation. He can give life to the dead. Indeed, he can do anything.
0
34
*** On that day, he will show hellfire to the disbelievers. “Is this not real?” They will say, “Yes, [we swear] by our Lord.” He will say, “TasteMP the torment for yourMP disbelief.”

35
Endure as the determined messengers endured, and do not hasten it for them. On the day they see what they were promised, it will seem to them as if they remained only an hour of the day. [It is] a proclamation. Will he destroy any except unbelieving people?
