14A1 In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful. ALR. Those are verses of the book and of a clear recitation.

Disbelievers may wish they were submitted.

Let them eat and enjoy themselves and let their hope entertain them. They will know.

We have never destroyed a village except if it had a known book.

No nation can advance its set time or postpone it.
0

They said, “YouMS who received the reminder are crazy.
0
7
If only youMS would bring us angels, if youMS are telling the truth.”
0
8
We only send angels with truth. In that case, they would not have been given more time.
0
9
We ourselves revealed the reminder, and we are its protectors.
0
10
We sent before youMS those of the party of the men of old,
0
11
and whenever a messenger came to them, they mocked him.
0
12
Thus we make it go into the hearts of wrongdoers.
0
13
They do not believe in him, though the traditions of the men of old have passed away.
0
14
Even if we opened a door in the sky, that they could keep going up through,
0
15
they would have said, “Our sight was drunken; rather, we were bewitched people.”
0
16
We made constellations in the sky and decorated them for people to look at.
0
17
We protected them from every damned devil,
0
18
except for the ones that eavesdropped and were followed clearly by a flame.
0
19
We stretched out the earth and set mountains in it, and caused everything to sprout in balance.
0
20
In it, we made a livelihood for youMP as well as for those youMP do not provide for.
0
21
We have treasuries of everything, and we only send it down in known quantities.
0
22
We sent the wind to pollinate, and sent rain down from the sky and quenched yourMP thirst with it. YouMP do not store it up.
0
23
We give life and take it, and we give inheritances.
0
24
We knew who among youMP would press forward and who would lag behind.
0
25
YourMS Lord himself will gather them. He is wise and all-knowing.
0
26
We created mankind of clay, from mud formed into shape.
0
27
We created jinns previously from the fire of scorching wind.
0
28
YourMS Lord told the angels, “I am creating humans from clay, from mud formed into shape,
0
29
so when I have formed him and breathed of my spirit into him, fall down and bow down before him.”
0
30
So the angels all bowed down,
0
31
except for Iblis, who refused to bow down.
0
32
He said, “Iblis, what is wrong that youMS do not bow down?”
0
33
He said, “I should not bow down to humans. YouMS created him from clay, from mud formed into shape.”
0
34
He said, “Leave it. YouMS are damned.
0
35
You are damned until the day of judgment.”
0
36
He said, “My Lord, give me more time, until the day they are resurrected.”
0
37
He said, “YouMS have more time,
0
38
until the day of a known time.”
0
39
He said, “My Lord, since youMS have led me astray, I will make things on earth desirable for them, and lead them all astray,
0
40
except for yourMS sincere servants among them.”
0
41
He said, “This is a straight path for me.
0
42
YouMS have no authority over my servants, except for those who follow youMS as they are led astray.
0
43
Hell is promised to all of them.
0
44
It has seven doors, each one of which has a specified portion.
0
45
The godly will be in a heavenly garden among springs.
0
46
“Enter it in peace and safety.”
0
47
We took enmity from their hearts, [and they will be] brothers on couches facing each other.
0
48
They will not be tired, and will not be expelled from it.
0
49
14A2 Tell my servants that I am forgiving and merciful,
0
50
and that my torment is really painful.
0

Tell them about Ibrahim’s guests.
0
52
They came to him and said, “Peace.” He said, “We are afraid of youMP.”
0
53
They said, “Do not be afraid. We bring youMS good news of a knowledgeable boy.”
0
54
He said, “Have youMP brought me good news despite my old age? What exactly are youMP giving me good news about?”
0
55
They said, “We give youMS good news in truth. Do not despairMS.
0
56
Only those who go astray despair of their Lord’s mercy.”
0
57
He said, “Then what is yourMP message, messengers?”
0
58
They said, “We have been sent to wrongdoing people,
0
59
except for Lut’s family. We will rescue every one of them
0
60
except for his wife. We have destined that she would lag behind.”
0
61
When the messengers came to Lut’s family,
0
62
he said, “YouMP people are strangers.”
0
63
They said, “Rather we have brought youMS what they doubted,
0
64
we have brought youMS truth, and we are telling the truth.
0
65
So take yourMS family during the night, and followMS behind them. None of youMP should turn around. GoMP where youMP are commanded.”

We decreed that command to him, that their remnant would be cut off by morning.
0

The people of the city came seeking good news.
0
68
He said, “These are my guests. Do not scandalize me.
0
69
Fear Allah and do not shame me.”
0
70
They said, “Did we not forbid youMS from dealing with other people?”
0
71
He said, “These are my daughters, if youMP must do something.”
0
72
By yourMS life, they are wandering as if drunk.
0
73
The cry overtook them at sunrise.
0
74
We turned them upside down, and rained upon them stones of dried clay.
0
75
That is a sign for the observant.
0

They are in a permanent path.
0

That is a sign for believers.
0

The people of the woods were wicked,
0

so we took revenge on them. They both are in a clear pattern.

The people of the chamber rejected the messengers,
0
81
and we brought them our signs, and they turned away from them.
0
82
They carved safe homes out of the mountains,
0
83
but the cry overtook them in the morning.
0

What they gained did not help them.
0
85
*** We truly created the heavens and the earth and what is between them. The hour is coming, so pardon graciously.
0
86
*** YourMS Lord is the all-knowing creator.
0
87
We have given youMS seven doubles and he great Qur’an.
0

Do not envyMS the pleasure we give some couples and do not grieveMS over them. Lower yourMS wing for the believers.

SayMS, “I myself am the clear warner.”
0

We also revealed to the dividers,
0

who made the Qur’an separate parts.

By yourMS Lord, we will question them all
0
93
about what they have done.
0
94
Expound what youMS have been commanded, and turnMS away from the idolaters.
0
95
We are adequate for youMS against the scoffers
0
96
who make another god besides Allah. They will know.
0
97
We knew that yourMS heart is tightened by what they say,
0
98
so glorify and praise yourMS Lord, and bowMS down.
0
99
Worship yourMS Lord until youMS are certain.
