In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful. HM.
0
2
The revelation of the most gracious and merciful.
0
3
A book whose verses are explained, an Arabic recitation for people who know,
0
4
bearing good news and warning. Most of them turned away and do not listen.
0
5
They said, “Our hearts are veiled from what youMP call us to, and our ears are deaf. There is a curtain between us and youMS, so work. We are working.
0
6
SayMS, “I am only a man like youMP who is inspired. YourMP god is one god, so be upright with him, and ask his forgiveness. Woe to worshipers of other gods,
0
7
who do not pay the poor-tax, and who do not believe in the hereafter.
0
8
Believers who do righteous deeds will have an undiminished reward.
0
9
24B3 SayMS, “Do youMP disbelieve in him who created the earth in two days, and make rival gods for him? He is the Lord of the universe,
0
10
and he made mountains above it, blessed it, and determined its nourishment in four days, equally to those who ask him.
0
11
Then he sat down in heaven, when it was smoke. He told it and to the earth, “ComeD willingly or unwillingly.” TheyFD said, “We come willingly.”
0
12
He made them seven heavens in two days and inspired each heaven with its command. We decorated the lowest heaven with lamps and guarded it. The mighty, all-knowing one decreed that.
0
13
*** If they turn away, sayMS, “I warned youMP of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt of Aad and Thamud.
0
14
*** When messengers came in front of them and behind them, “Worship only Allah,” they said, “If our Lord had willed, he would have sent down angels. We disbelieve in yourMP message.”
0
15
Aad were unjustifiably proud in the land, and said, “Who is stronger than we are?” Have they not seen that Allah, who created them, is stronger than they are?” They denied our signs.
0
16
We sent a furious wind on unlucky days, to make them taste shameful torment in this world. The torment of the hereafter is more shameful, and they will not be saved.
0
17
As for Thamud, we guided them, but they preferred blindness to guidance, and a thunderbolt of contemptible torment seized them as they deserved,
0
18
while we rescued godly believers.
0
19
On that day, Allah’s enemies will be gathered and marched into hellfire.
0
20
So when they come to it, their hearing, their sight, and their skin will witness against them for their deeds.
0
21
They will say to their skins, “Why did youMP witness against us?” They will say, “Allah gave us speech, just as he gave speech to everything. He created youMP at the beginning, and youMP will be returned to him.
0
22
YouMP will not be hidden from yourMP hearing, yourMP sight, and yourMP skin witnessing against youMP. YouMP imagined that Allah does not know much about yourMP deeds.
0
23
The thought youMP imagined about yourMP Lord will destroy youMP, and youMP will be lost.
0
24
If they continue, hellfire is their abode. If they beg for favor, they will not get it.
0
25
24B4 We destined companions for them, and they made what was in front of them and behind them seem fair to them. The saying against those of the nations of men and jinns that passed away before them was fulfilled on them. They were lost.
0
26
The disbelievers said, “Do not listen to this recitation but use vain words about it, so that youMP may be victorious.”
0
27
We will make the disbelievers taste severe torment and repay them for the worst of what they did.
0
28
The penalty for Allah’s enemies is hellfire. They will remain there forever as a punishment for denying our signs.
0
29
The disbelievers said, “Our Lord, show us the jinns or people thatD ledD us astray. We will put themD under our feet, so that theyD will be the lowest.”
0
30
The angels come down upon those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then are upright. “Do not fear and do not grieve. We give youMP good news of the heavenly garden which youMP were promised.
0
31
We are yourMP helpers in this world and the hereafter. YouMP will have whatever yourMP souls desire there. YouMP will have whatever youMP want,
0
32
dwellings as a gift from a forgiving, merciful one.
0
33
Who is better in speech than one who prays to Allah, does righteous deeds, and says, “I am submitted.”
0
34
A good deed is not equal to a bad deed. DriveMS away with what is best, and  yourMS enemy will be like a close friend.
0
35
Only those who endure will be granted it. Only those with great fortune will be granted it.
0
36
When Satan incites youMS with an evil suggestion, seek protection in Allah. He hears all and knows all.
0
37
Among his signs are night, day, the sun and the moon. Do not bowMP down to the sun, or the moon. Bow down to Allah, who created them, if youMP worship him.
0
38
If they are proud, those with yourMS Lord worship him night and day, and do not grow weary.
0
39
*** Among his signs are that youMS see the lowliness of the earth. If we send rain down on it, it shakes and grows. He who revives it is reviver of the dead. He can do anything.
0
40
Those who act profanely toward our signs are not hidden from us. Is someone who is thrown into hellfire better, then, or someone who comes safely to the day of resurrection? Do whatever youMP want to. He sees yourMP deeds.
0
41
*** As for disbelievers in the reminder when it came to them, it is a mighty book;
0
42
*** nothing vain comes in front of it or behind it. [It is] a revelation from a wise, praiseworthy one.
0
43
*** Everything that is told to youMS was told to the messengers before youMS. YourMS Lord has forgiveness and painful punishment.
0
44
*** If we had made it a foreign recitation, they would have said, “If only its signs were explained – are they foreign and Arabic?” SayMS, “It is guidance and healing for believers. Disbelievers have deafness in their ears. It is blindness to them. They are called from afar.
0
45
*** We gave Musa the book, and it was disagreed about. And if not for a word which came previously from yourMS Lord, it would have determined among them. They are in serious doubt about him.
0
46
*** Whoever does righteous deeds benefits his own soul, and whoever does bad deeds harms it. YourMS Lord does not wrong his servants.
0
47
25A1 He has knowledge of the hour. No fruit comes out of the buds, or pregnant female gives birth without his knowledge. On that day, he will call to them, “Where are the gods youMP worshiped instead of me?” They will say, “We proclaim to youMS that none of us is a witness.”
0
48
*** Those they previously prayed to went astray from them. They thought they had no way of escape.
0
49
*** People do not grow weary of praying for good. If they are touched with evil, they utterly despair.
0
50
*** If we make them taste our mercy after harm has touched them, they will say, “This is mine. I surely do not think the hour is coming. If I am returned to my Lord, I will have a good reward.” We will tell the disbelievers what they did, and make them taste harsh torment.
0
51
*** When we give someone blessings, he turns away and goes off. If evil touches him, he prays many prayers.
0
52
*** SayMS, “What do youMP think? If it is from Allah and then youMS disbelieve in it, who is more astray than such a contentious one?
0
53
We will show them our signs in the horizons and in themselves, until it is clear to them that it is truth. Is it not sufficient that yourMS Lord is witness of everything?
0
54
*** Are they not in doubt about meeting their Lord? Does he not comprehend everything?
